A 65-year-old woman is accused of fatally shooting a mother and daughter she’s had ongoing issues with during a fight inside her apartment, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.

Walker was at the apartment when officers arrived and took her into custody.

An officer wrote in the affidavit that Walker told police she’s had issues with Pinkard, saying Pinkard’s son has been involved in multiple shootings at the apartment complex.

Walker said she called 911 multiple times to report threats from Pinkard and Willis, including twice the same day of the deadly shooting. Walker said Willis was allegedly involved in a fight with a fourth woman shortly before the shooting, the affidavit says. After the fight, the woman went into Walker’s apartment.

Willis called Pinkard to come to the location and once she arrived they went to Walker’s apartment.

Walker told police she was standing in her doorway and told Willis and Pinkard not to enter but they “forced” their way in and began assaulting the fourth woman, according to the affidavit.

Walker said the women never physically attacked her and though she believed Pinkard had a gun, she never saw one, an officer wrote in the report.

Walker told police, according to the affidavit, that she shot Willis as she was attempting to leave the apartment then shot Pinkard.

Dallas Cowboys NFL Draft picks 2024: Grades, fits and scouting reports

The Dallas Cowboys enter the 2024 NFL Draft on April 25 with seven picks over the three-day draft.

The Cowboys have major questions along the offensive line and no clear-cut No. 1 running back. Tyler Smith is the anchor on the left side of the line where he was a Pro-Bowl guard in 2023. He could stay there if Dallas drafts a starting left tackle or could slide to tackle if the Cowboys draft a starting guard. Also, the departure of Tyler Biadasz left an opening at center. With Tony Pollard signing with the Tennessee Titans, Rico Dowdle is the Cowboys’ top returning back (they also recently added veteran Royce Freeman), so running back will be a primary target — unlikely in Round 1 — for Dallas in this draft.

Keep coming back here throughout the draft for analysis and grades for each Cowboys pick.
