Former candidate Williams endorses in mayor’s race

Augusta, Ga (WJBF) – There may be a brand new growth within the Augusta mayoral run-off.
Former Commissioner Marion Williams completed third within the race, lacking the run-off between Steven Kendrick and Garnett Johnson.
Williams says after contemplating the 2 candidates he helps Johnson over Kendrick.
“I don’t agree with plenty of his politics, and I don’t suppose he agrees with mine both, I don’t wish to sound like I’m bashing him as a result of I’m not, what I’m doing is I’m choosing the alternatives, that I believe can be the most effective candidate for the subsequent mayor of Augusta and that’s Mr. Johnson,” mentioned former candidate Marion Williams.
Johnson accepted Williams endorsement calling it necessary.

DDS reminds Georgians of REAL ID compliance
