Woman killed, man injured in head-on crash in Riverside, police say

A 58-year-old Jurupa Valley girl was killed in a head-on automobile crash in Riverside Friday afternoon, in keeping with the Riverside Police Division.

The girl was driving a purple 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer close to Buena Vista Avenue and Indian Hill Street at about 3:11 p.m. when one other automobile, a black 2018 Audi sedan pushed by an 18-year-old man from Jurupa Valley, crossed over the center line “for unknown causes” and “collided head-on” with the lady’s automobile, police mentioned in a information launch.

The girl was taken to a close-by hospital, the place she succumbed to her accidents, police mentioned. Her identification has not but been launched.

The person was taken to the hospital with average accidents.

“Presently, it’s unknown if medicine or alcohol could have been a contributing issue,” the discharge added.

Gunman wanted for shooting through motel room wall in San Bernardino County

Authorities are searching for a suspect who shot through the wall of a motel room in San Bernardino County. 

The shooting occurred Thursday at Motel 6 on the 72500 block of Twentynine Palms Highway in Twentynine Palms, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. 

The victims, a 77-year-old man and an 81-year-old woman, were visiting from San Diego and staying at the property.

The suspect, identified as Royce Roche, was in the room next door when he allegedly fired his gun. The bullet pierced through an adjoining wall and into the victims’ room.

Surveillance video showed Roche leaving the motel with a towel wrapped around his left hand. He fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Roche is currently wanted out of Colorado for a probation violation. His vehicle is a white 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer with California license plate 9NJB143.

“He is likely armed with a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous,” deputies said.

Neither the victims nor anyone else on the property were injured during the shooting, deputies said.

2 suspects wanted for vehicle theft in Orange County

Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a vehicle theft in Orange County.

The pair allegedly stole a blue Jeep Gladiator truck from the 1000 block of Elements Way in Irvine back in February, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The stolen car was later found in Hollywood by Los Angeles police officers.

The suspects were captured on surveillance cameras leaving what appears to be a parking area.
