Video: 2 sought in armed robbery of Culver City gas station store

Two males are being sought in an armed theft of a fuel station retailer that occurred over the weekend in Culver Metropolis.

The incident was reported about 9:35 p.m. Saturday at a Shell fuel station situated at 10332 Culver Blvd. 

Responding officers discovered three victims and realized two males entered the shop and one pointed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun at one of many victims, in accordance with Culver Metropolis police.

The lads then pressured two staff face down on the ground and eliminated money from the register, video launched by police on Monday confirmed.

One of many males entered the again workplace, allegedly pointed the gun on the supervisor’s head and demanded extra money.

The supervisor feared for her life and complied, police stated.

Each males finally left the shop and ran east on Culver Boulevard. They continue to be excellent.

The armed man is described as being between 20 and 30 years previous, is about 5 ft 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 kilos. He was sporting a grey hoodie, a black face masks, black shorts, black footwear and has tattoos on his hand.

The second man is about the identical age, is about 5 ft 10 inches tall and weighs about 200 kilos. He was sporting a black hoodie with “Adidas” on its proper aspect, a skeleton face masks, blue surgical gloves, black pants and black footwear.

Chili’s celebrates 50th anniversary with margarita deals, limited-edition merch

Chili’s is marking its 50th anniversary with a celebration centered around its signature margaritas. Throughout March, the restaurant will offer special deals and exclusive merchandise.

On March 13, guests can enjoy $5 Presidente Margaritas all day long, along with popular desserts such as the Molten Chocolate Cake. Customers must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol.

The restaurant chain is also its anniversary with a limited-edition merch collection featuring nostalgic items, including coasters inspired by old-school tables, retro T-shirts, trucker hats, and Skillet Cookie Candles.

Throughout March, the restaurant chain also plans to highlight a lineup of margaritas as part of its “Marg Madness” promotion.

2 suspects wanted for vehicle theft in Orange County

Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with a vehicle theft in Orange County.

The pair allegedly stole a blue Jeep Gladiator truck from the 1000 block of Elements Way in Irvine back in February, according to the Irvine Police Department.

The stolen car was later found in Hollywood by Los Angeles police officers.

The suspects were captured on surveillance cameras leaving what appears to be a parking area.

Thousand Oaks man arrested after homemade bomb explodes in hands: sheriff

A Thousand Oaks man was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Tuesday afternoon after a homemade bomb detonated inside his home and injured his hands.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. at a home on the 2000 block of Hendrix Avenue in Thousand Oaks, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to the scene after reports of an explosion and found 66-year-old David Kornbluth with minor injuries to his hands. It was determined that he was handling explosive materials that ignited inside his home, causing the explosion.

Kornbluth was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was later released.

Due to concerns over public safety, authorities conducted a search of the residence and found additional materials suspected to be explosive in nature. The Sheriff’s Office Arson/Bomb Unit and the Ventura County Fire Department assisted in securing the scene.

Detectives later obtained a search warrant and found additional items that they say are “consistent with creating explosives.” The materials were seized as evidence, and authorities determined that the home and surrounding neighborhood were safe.

After being released from the hospital, Kornbluth was taken into custody and booked into jail to await charges for possessing materials for creating an explosive device. He currently is in custody on $100,000 bail.

The Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to Sheriff’s Dispatch at 805-654-9511. Ventura County Crime Stoppers offers a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and criminal complaint. Anonymous tips can be provided online or by phone.
