Real Housewives Of Atlanta: Drew Sidora cries while detailing shock split from husband Ralph Pittman after nine years of marriage on season 15 finale

Drew Sidora broke down crying while detailing her shocking split from husband Ralph Pittman on Sunday’s season finale of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta on Bravo.

The 38-year-old singer and actress and Ralph, 40, split earlier this year after nine years of marriage and she addressed filing for divorce in a confessional.

‘I lost my voice in the marriage, and I allowed things that no woman should ever allow,’ Drew said five days after filing for divorce. ‘I allowed him having inappropriate relationship with women. I allowed Tampa.’

‘Did he ever come back to your room?,’ a producer asked, referencing Ralph leaving their bedroom.

‘No,’ Drew said and then started crying.

At 8pm during Drew’s confessional taping, Mimi Faust, 53, posted a story suggesting that her ex, former WNBA star Ty Young, 36, and Drew had an affair. At 8:01 news of the alleged affair hit the press while Drew was still taping. She told production that she met Ty on the set of The Pass movie by Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss.

Drew said she believed that Ralph leaked the rumor of her being with Ty to the press and then started crying.

Production also sat down with Ralph the next day, on March 4, and he said he was ready to talk about Drew.

‘I asked Drew for the divorce,’ Ralph said. ‘We ended up getting into a pretty big argument, and that’s when I said that I wanted to file for divorce.’

Ralph called his lawyer who told him that he couldn’t talk about his big fight with Drew.

‘Are Drew and Ty dating?’ a producer asked.

‘Ty and Drew, they have a friendship together, and that’s pretty much as far as I can actually say,’ Ralph said. ‘I can’t talk about it.’

Courtney Rhodes, 48, said in a confessional that she heard that Drew was bisexual and had fun with girls and that Ralph was aware of it. Courtney said she also heard that Drew was traveling to Texas to visit Ty.

‘The lawyer he got went to the media and that’s why the headline was ”he filed”,’ Drew said. ‘It was like so messy. And then as they got court documents, they saw actually I got 61 minutes before.’

Drew told production that things with Ralph had not been getting better.

The season 15 episode titled Art Imitates Life opened by showing the date March 3, 2023, and Drew being asked by a producer about how it had felt during the season that there had been something going on that she wasn’t talking about.

‘What do you want to tell me about what we haven’t been seeing this year?’ the producer said.

The show then flashed back to January 2023 with Sanya Richards-Ross, 38, going for a sonogram and Marlo Hampton, 47, accompanying her because Sanya’s husband Aaron Ross was out of town.

Drew was home making plans for attending the wrap party for Todd Tucker’s movie The Pass when Ralph walked in. Ralph said he had moved out of their bedroom, but said it was because Drew was coming home so late from the movie.

‘When are you moving back in the room?’ Drew asked.

‘I don’t know,’ Ralph said. ‘Whenever I can get some stability.’

Drew showed Ralph the video Monyetta Shaw, 43, sent her of Courtney calling her a ‘b****.’

‘I’ve heard Kenya call you a b****,’ Ralph said, not surprised.

Drew stormed out of the room upset and asked for someone to take her mic off and burst out crying telling Ralph he embarrassed her.

Kenya Moore told her father Ronald about how she wanted to have another child and that she had embryos left.

‘Oh my God, Man, you almost died the last time,’ Ronald said.

‘I know Dad but you know they have surrogates,’ Kenya said.

‘That’s a good idea,’ Ronald said.

Kenya said she needed to still talk to Marc but that legally she had the right to use them. Kenya said in a confessional that she was worried about bringing it up with him.

Drew and Ralph went to see Dr. Ken, their marriage counselor.

‘Ralph agreed to come see Dr. Ken because at this point we are literally fighting for our marriage,’ Drew said.

Ralph said he had been making out of changes and moved out of their bedroom.

‘We are not even sharing the same space, so very disconnected,’ Drew said.

Ralph said he moved out to get to a place where he was comfortable and said it felt ‘liberating.’ Drew said she felt alone and that Ralph never discussed the move with her. Drew said even the kids have asked her why Ralph had moved out. Ralph said he was just making changes that made him feel good.

‘Drew loves the heat on like 82 and I’m a guy that likes it like closer to 68, 72,’ Ralph said.

‘On here it says she filed but then when you click on another one, it says they were racing to get there and she got there an hour before him,’ Marlo said.

‘Now what the streets are saying is she is dating Ty, the basketball player Mimi’s ex, ‘ Marlo said. ‘That’s what the street is saying now.’

Sheree was shocked because in Portugal, Drew made such a huge deal about kissing a woman. Marlo said in a confessional that a week earlier at Ralph’s birthday party that Drew was there with a ‘a girl that she was dating, Ty.’

Kandi said that Drew met Ty on set.

‘The rumor mills say that Ty and Drew hooked up,’ Kandi said in a confessional.

Atlanta Hawks vs Utah Jazz: Spread and Final Score Predictions For Tonight’s Game

Atlanta Hawks vs Utah Jazz: Spread and Final Score Predictions For Tonight’s Game

After losing three straight games, the Atlanta Hawks are hoping to close out their road trip strong. They have two games remaining on their longest road trip of the season and one of them is tonight vs the Utah Jazz. Atlanta is going to have to overcome the absence of Jalen Johnson, but Utah is also going to be without key players tonight. Keyonte George, John Collins, and Jordan Clarkson are all out tonight for the Jazz while Lauri Markkanen is questionable. Utah has won two games in a row, but they have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. The Hawks could use a win tonight to get back on track, but they will have to do it without their All-Star caliber forward.

Our own Rohan Raman previewed the game earlier today:

“Coming into tonight’s game, the Hawks are 7th in the NBA in PPG, 15th in FG%, 19th in 3PA, 18th in 3P%, 4th in FTA, 24th in turnovers, and 6th in rebounding. Per Cleaning the Glass, Atlanta is 15th in points per 100 possessions, 18th in effective field goal percentage, 19th in turnover percentage, 7th in offensive rebounding percentage, and 8th in free throw rate.

Currently, the Hawks rank 27th in PPG allowed, 25th in field goal percentage allowed, 30th in three-point attempts allowed, and 30th in three-point percentage allowed. Per Cleaning the Glass, Atlanta is 17th in points allowed per 100 possessions and 28th in effective field goal percentage allowed.

The Jazz’s offense is solidly positioned within the middle of the NBA and hustles on the glass, but they do struggle to keep possession. Utah is 19th in the NBA in PPG, 17th in FG%, 11th in 3PA, 15th in 3P%, 8th in FTA, 30th in turnovers, and 8th in rebounding. Per Cleaning the Glass, the Jazz are 20th in points per 100 possessions, 14th in effective field goal percentage, 30th in turnover percentage, 3rd in offensive rebounding percentage, and 4th in free throw rate.

On defense, Utah ranks 26th in PPG allowed, 26th in field goal percentage allowed, 27th in three-point attempts allowed, and 17th in three-point percentage allowed. Per Cleaning the Glass, the Jazz are 28th in points allowed per 100 possessions and 22nd in effective field goal percentage allowed.

The key to this game is going to be keeping the Jazz off the boards and taking advantage of their propensity for turnovers. I think the matchup between Kessler and Clint Capela/Onyeka Okongwu is going to be key because Utah thrives on second-chance points. If Capela/Okongwu can hold their own against the seven-footer, it’s going to be hard for a Jazz team down so much offensive firepower to hold pace.

Even though Collin Sexton is a difficult matchup due to his strength and shooting ability, Dyson Daniels should be able to bait him into a few turnovers. I expect Sexton to have a lot of plays as the ball-handler and Daniels will be tasked with shutting him down.

This is a game that I am very interested to see if Risacher can thrive in. The Jazz really don’t have a lot of good wing defenders and they will be focused on not letting Young beat them. If they decide to employ that strategy, I expect that Risacher will be able to take advantage of a lack of defensive attention on him.

On defense, the Hawks should be able to shoot the Jazz out of this game. Getting back Bogdanovic means they will have their best two high-volume shooters (Hunter and Bogdanovic) in the lineup and ready to go against a defense that does not have the personnel to limit them. Mathews has also re-integrated himself into the lineup after struggling for a significant portion of the year and looked better as a quick-trigger shooter from deep.”

According to Fanduel Sportsbook, the Hawks are 6.5 point favorites tonight vs Utah and the total is set at 237.5.

While this is just one game out of 82, the Hawks could really use a win tonight. The Eastern Conference Standings are getting tight in the 4-11 spots and while the Hawks are not far out from being in the No. 4 spot, they are also not far out from being out of the play-in race. Every game matters in a competitive spot like that and even though Johnson is not playing, the Hawks are the better team. Trae Young has a huge game and Atlanta gets the win over the Jazz.

Final Score: Atlanta 121, Utah 115

DORAVILLE, Ga. — A shooting Monday at the Honduran consulate just outside Atlanta left one person dead and another injured, and a suspect was in custody, authorities said.

The person who was killed was a Mexican citizen who worked as a security guard at the consulate, the Mexican Foreign Affairs secretary said in a statement posted on the social platform X.

Doraville police responded to a report of gunshots around 2:30 p.m. and found two people who had been shot, city spokesperson Emily Heenan said. One of the people was declared dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital for treatment, she said.

A suspect was taken into custody at the scene and was taken to the Doraville police station for questioning, Heenan said. She did not provide any information about a possible motive for the shooting.

Atlanta Habitat ReStore honors Jimmy Carter with memorial door for public tributes

Megan McCabe, director of the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity ReStore, points out a tribute to the late President Jimmy Carter on a memorial door on Jan. 6, 2025.

The Atlanta Habitat for Humanity ReStore is honoring former President Jimmy Carter with a memorial door, giving the public a unique way to leave tributes, share memories, and celebrate his legacy. The door, a symbolic representation of a home’s threshold, will be available for signing at the Atlanta ReStore located at 271 Chester Ave. from Tuesday through Jan. 9. It will then be moved to the South Fulton ReStore, located at 5626 Old National Highway in College Park, from Jan. 10 through Jan. 16. Afterward, the door will return to Atlanta Habitat’s headquarters, where it will be permanently displayed.

“We’re very excited to be one of many Habitat affiliates across the nation celebrating Jimmy Carter,” said Megan McCabe, director of the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity ReStore. “We figured this was a fun and easy way for folks to leave tributes and celebrate his legacy.”

Carter, who passed away on Dec 29, was deeply involved with Habitat for Humanity. Although not its founder, he and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter became celebrated volunteers for the organization, beginning in the 1980s. Their efforts included the 1988 Carter Work Project in Atlanta, where 21 homes were built in a single week, leaving a lasting legacy in the city.

“Most people think that Jimmy Carter founded us, but he’s actually been a very celebrated volunteer since the ’80s,” McCabe said. “The Carter Work Project around the Olympics was a huge success and remains a significant part of Atlanta’s history.”

The memorial door aims to capture the public’s admiration for Carter’s life and work. McCabe emphasized the symbolic importance of a door in Habitat for Humanity’s mission, calling it “the threshold for somebody’s home” and a fitting tribute to Carter’s dedication to affordable housing.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by during store hours, Tuesday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., between [specific start date] and [specific end date], to leave messages on the door. According to McCabe, many families have already left heartfelt tributes. “We hope it will be full of color and comments by the time it’s ready for its permanent home,” she said.
