Watch: Moment huge sailing ship crashes into new USS Minneapolis-St. Paul


The newly-launched USS Minneapolis-St. Paul Littoral Fight Ship was broken by a large Danish crusing ship whereas it was docked within the Baltimore Interior Harbor on Sunday.

Video taken by Twitter consumer Charles Degliomini exhibits the Danmark coaching ship crashing into the usMinneapolis-St. Paul, with some guardrails on the ship getting destroyed.

The USA Navy stated no sailors had been injured within the incident.

“No U.S. Navy personnel had been injured and no critical injury sustained onboard USS Minneapolis St. Paul (LCS 21) when the Danish coaching ship Danmark made contact with the moored LCS whereas the Danish ship was getting underway from the Baltimore Interior Harbor Sept 11, 2022,” a U.S. Navy spokesperson stated in a press release.

MINNEAPOLIS — Two Minneapolis Police Officers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after their squad car was involved in a crash with another vehicle. 

The accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday night near Chicago Avenue and 9th Street South.   

Police say the two officers were driving with their lights and siren activated when the collied with another car — a security vehicle. 

The driver and lone occupant of the security vehicle was not injured. 

Minneapolis Traffic Investigations responded to the scene. Minneapolis police will investigate the accident.
