Popular Seattle Seahawks mock draft target shines at combine
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Offensive tackle Armand Membou of Missouri dazzled during Sunday’s NFL scouting combine.

Jared Wilson, the center from Georgia, produced a historic run.
Together, they finished the on-field workouts in Indianapolis with a flourish.
The 6-foot-3, 310-pound Wilson surpassed Membou’s 40-yard dash time on the final run of the weekend. Wilson finished in 4.84 seconds, making him the second 300-pound lineman to run faster than 4.85. Lane Johnson also did it in 2013.
Membou, meanwhile, helped himself with the top overall performance after coming to Indy as the top graded offensive linemen, according to NFL.com. Not only did he post the second-fastest 40 time at 4.91 seconds, he also led the position group with a 9-foot, 7-inch broad jump and tied for fourth with a 34-inch vertical jump. Membou was listed at 6-4, 332 pounds.

Membou has been a popular mock draft selection for the Seattle Seahawks over the past couple of months. ESPN’s Field Yates and Mel Kiper, USA Today’s Michael Middlehurts-Schwartz and Fox Sports’ Rob Rang are among the draft analysts who have projected Membou to the Seahawks in recent mock drafts.

Will Campbell, the 6-6, 319 pound tackle from LSU, was second in the broad jump at 9-5. Tate Ratledge, a guard from Georgia, also went 9-5 in the broad jump.
Campbell and Membou are vying to be the first offensive lineman selected in April’s draft.
Grey Zabel, a tackle from North Dakota State, had the best vertical jump Sunday, going 36 1/2 inches. He was followed by Jalen Travis of Iowa State at 35, and Josh Conerly Jr. of Oregon at 34 1/2.
Quarterbacks, running backs and receivers finished their testing with the bench press.
Donovan Edwards of Michigan and Jarquez Hunter of Auburn posted the most reps among the nine running backs who participated. Edwards had 23, Hunter finished with 21.
Jaylin Noel of Iowa State and Jack Bech of TCU led the eight-man receiver group. Noel finished with 23 reps while Bech had 19.
All of the quarterbacks opted out.
Combine week’s final workout comes Monday when the offensive linemen lift.

Seattle officials probe food safety violations at Indian restaurant after illness outbreak
SEATTLE — An outbreak of gastrointestinal illness linked to Thanksgiving meals from Kanishka Cuisine of India in Seattle has affected 35 people, prompting a public health investigation.
The illnesses, which began between Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, 2025, are associated with the restaurant’s “Fusion Thanksgiving Feast,” prepared for customer pickup or delivery. Although no specific food or drink has been identified as the cause, the symptoms align with those caused by bacterial toxins, which can develop when food is improperly stored at room temperature.

Public Health officials have conducted interviews with 16 affected people to gather information on their symptoms and food consumption. Symptoms reported include diarrhea, stomach pains, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, headache, and body aches. Fortunately, no hospitalizations or deaths have been reported, and no restaurant workers have shown signs of illness.
During a Dec. 2 inspection, several food safety violations were identified at Kanishka Cuisine of India, including inadequate equipment and space for safely preparing the large volume of food required for the feast, improper cooling methods, and failure to maintain safe food temperatures.
Despite educational efforts and a follow-up visit on Dec. 4, the restaurant continued to exhibit unsafe food handling practices, leading to its temporary closure. The establishment is now discarding unsafe food and retraining staff on proper food safety protocols.
Laboratory tests on four people affected by the outbreak returned negative for common gastrointestinal pathogens such as norovirus, Salmonella, and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli. However, these tests do not detect bacteria that produce toxins, such as Bacillus cereus and Clostridium perfringens, which are known to cause rapid-onset foodborne illness.
Public Health advises the public to report any suspected foodborne illnesses and to file complaints about food safety violations.
