Frances Vavrus has been named vice provost and dean of the Worldwide Division on the College of Wisconsin–Madison.

She joined the College of Minnesota Twin Cities in 2008 and is a professor and affiliate chair within the Division of Organizational Management, Coverage, and Improvement of their School of Schooling and Human Improvement. Vavrus has served as chair, affiliate chair, director of graduate research, and coordinator of the graduate program in Comparative and Worldwide Improvement Schooling .
