Prominent New Mexico restaurant owner, Billy Crews, loses cabin in Ruidoso fire – KVIA
RUIDOSO, New Mexico- The previous few years have been tough on restaurant proprietor Billy Crews.
It began with the altering of liquor legal guidelines in New Mexico, which prevented him from promoting his enterprise on the value he wished.
Months later, the pandemic hit, forcing him to shut his doorways for a time frame.
It rained the final Valentine’s vacation, ruining the enterprise’s busiest day of the 12 months.
Now, his house away from that held reminiscences of mates and households celebrating good occasions has turned to ashes.
Crews, who owns Billy Crews High quality Eating, informed ABC-7 he had owned the cabin for 12 years.
“It makes you wish to cry,” Crews shared.
The fireplace division despatched Crews footage of the devastated 1,200 sqft, three-bedroom and two-bath cabin.

Light rain and snow showers possible for parts of New Mexico
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – An upper level low pressure system is exiting eastward out of New Mexico and into Texas.
A few low clouds and some areas of fog may linger in portions of northern and eastern New Mexico through the mid-morning, but clearing conditions will take hold before noon.
However, additional weaker weather disturbances will bring a few more light rain and snow showers again late Thursday into Friday, mainly over northern New Mexico.
