Colorado transfer WR Seydou Traore enrolls at Mississippi State football | Report
Colorado transfer wide receiver Seydou Traore has enrolled at Mississippi State, 247Sports reported on Saturday.
The 6-foot-4, 210 pound Traore transferred to the Buffaloes and first-year Colorado coach Deion Sanders before spring practice but re-entered the transfer portal after spring practice.
Before the multiple portal trips, Traore was an All-Sun Belt Conference performer at tight end for Arkansas State. The junior from London, England, caught 50 passes for 655 yards and four touchdowns for the Red Wolves in 2022, all team highs. Traore who went to high school at Clearwater Academy in Florida caught 11 passes for 79 yards in 2021 for Arkansas State.
Because Traore has not yet graduated and is transferring for a second time, he must apply for a waiver to play this season. Traore told 247Sports that he plans to apply for the waiver in order to play in 2023.

If he does earn a waiver, he’ll add depth as a versatile option at receiver alongside experienced returners Lideatrick Griffin, Jaden Walley and Justin Robinson. Rufus Harvey entered the transfer portal last month.
The Bulldogs begin the 2023 season against Southeastern Louisiana on Sept. 2 at Davis Wade Stadium.
