Maryland reports 500 less jobs in April, while unemployment rate continues decline


ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Maryland misplaced 500 jobs in April, in line with preliminary information from the U.S. Division of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.

However that didn’t have any impression on the state’s unemployment price. The truth is, that fell to 4.2 % which continues to be the bottom mark because the starting of the pandemic.

In contrast with April 2021, Maryland jobs are up by 77,800, totaling a year-over-year improve of three %.
