SafeHomes forced to replace annual fundraiser because of Hurricane Helene

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – SafeHomes says it is unable to host its largest annual fundraiser, Fake It to Make It, because of the impact of Hurricane Helene.

The nonprofit provides emergency shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, support groups, and job training to victims of domestic violence.

Columbia County has 2 students and a teacher on state superintendent advisory councils

SafeHomes says they will be raffling tickets to Night One of the Kicks 99 Guitar Pull in place of the normal fundraiser.

Every $50 donation will result in a raffle entry. The drawing will take place on Monday at noon on Facebook Live.
