MUSIC: All that jazz …
Arkansas jazz musicians TeRoy Betton Jr., Irene Crutchfield Brown, Invoice Craig, Jackie Lamar and Ken Walker be a part of the Arkansas Jazz Corridor of Fame at an “Induction Ceremony with Jazz Celebration,” sponsored and introduced by the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Basis, 8-10 p.m. Monday within the 1885 Home of Representatives Chamber, Outdated State Home Museum, 300 W. Markham St., Little Rock.
The post-induction jazz celebration will embody a combo of Corridor of Fame inductees: Joe Vick (upright bass, 2014), Brian Brown (drums, 2018) and Clyde Pound (keyboards, 2020). Doorways open at 7 p.m.; there will probably be refreshments, snacks and desk seating for roughly 100. Admission is $40, $20 for basis members who’ve paid their $20 2022-23 dues.
