There’s mild, there’s fireplace, there are some superheroes who wield distinctive astras which had been born from the Brahm-Shakti that possesses energies present in components of nature like Jal (water) Āstra, Pawan (wind) Āstra, Agney (fireplace) Āstra, and animal and vegetation. Above all, there’s probably the most highly effective astra, Brahmastra, a supernatural celestial weapon that is stated to have the ability to destroy the universe, which was damaged into three items to reserve it from the darkish forces. After which there’s Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt creating sparks on display with their real-to-reel chemistry. (Additionally learn: Brahmastra launch reside updates: Overview, premiere pics from Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt movie)
Brahmastra: Half One – Shiva is a love story on the core, but it surely quickly takes type of a battle between the great and the evil when the energies that rule this universe take management. Brahmastra is like watching a online game. Written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a heady mix of Hindu mythology and sci-fi components that function the backdrop of a love story which is uncommon to say the least.
Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) is a DJ who falls for Isha (Alia Bhatt) at first sight and as their romance blossoms, his quest to search out the rationale behind his unusual reference to fireplace turns into even stronger. His visions about destruction change into clearer and unaware that he’s destined to awaken the Brahmāstra, his path crosses with Guru ji (Amitabh Bachchan), the chief of the Brahmānsh, a secret society of sages who harness the Brahm-Shakti. In the meantime, Junoon (Mouni Roy), the queen of darkish forces, should discover the fractured items of Brahmastra and convey her evil plans to fruition.
Brahmastra begins as your common, typical boy meets lady love saga, but it surely wastes no time in constructing the precise premise which is letting Shiva get on a journey collectively to search out his final goal. With an overcomplicated screenplay, Brahmastra does get a bit convoluted at instances however will get again on monitor quickly sufficient too. Mukerji, who spent virtually eight years to return out with the ultimate movie, clearly has gone overboard with sure facets, however fortunately, it by no means reaches some extent that it begins to trouble and distract.

At 2 hours 45 minutes, the movie appears a bit stretched, particularly within the first half, and 20-25 minutes may have been simply chopped off on the modifying desk. Whereas I favored the construct of Shiva and Isha’s romance within the first half, it did not should be stretched past some extent. The second half takes off on a excessive notice with flashback into Shiva’s life and the entire thriller of Brahmastra and there are some actually spectacular parts that go away you awestruck. Whereas the story of Brahmastra was by no means actually meant to be easy, it is the magic of VFX (all made in India), therapy of the astras, and grandeur of every thing surrounding the characters that make it a visible spectacle and really a cinematic expertise to be loved on the large display.
Brahmastra has a critical tone for many half however I favored how dialogues by Hussain Dalal infuse refined humour at some locations that does not look odd even in probably the most intense scene or a battle. And speaking of preventing scenes, the motion choreography is subsequent degree and on par with a number of the finest we see in movies like RRR and Baahubali. No, I am not trying to check Brahmastra with SS Rajamouli’s cinematic excellence however let’s give credit score the place it is due.
Making Brahmastra much more particular are Alia and Ranbir – the souls of the movie. Ranbir has put his finest foot ahead imbibing Shiva’s qualities and make them his personal and he does add his boyish allure into the character even in probably the most intense scenes. Alia appears fairly convincing as Isha and stays an integral power to drive Shiva’s actions. She delivers a restrained efficiency and by no means loses her floor. Collectively, Ranbir and Alia look endearing on display.
Nagarjuna Akkineni as artist Anish Shetty, and a member of the Brahmānsh, who wields the Nandi Astra, is an especially highly effective casting. His traces and display presence provides a lot extra gravitas to the script. Solely factor I want is that makers gave Akkineni a bit extra screentime. Amitabh Bachchan as Guru Ji jogged my memory of his Narayan Shanker from Mohabbatein, although he is much less strict and extra enjoyable on this one.
Mouni Roy as the one antagonist in Brahmastra is sweet solely to some extent when she would not overact and begins to look a tad too over-the-top in elements. From her look, apparel to make-up, there’s one thing about Junoon that simply would not slot in. Oh, there’s additionally one other veteran actor, a member of Brahmansh, who has been given precisely two dialogues and has been royally wasted on this ensemble solid. I imply, come on, are you telling on this complete Astraverse, there was nothing higher she may do than to fly a aircraft and simply be there doing nothing?

Lastly, the music of Brahmastra is simply common. Kesariya, for one, has been performed extra variety of instances that required within the final two months that there is not any novelty left if you really watch it within the precise movie. Deva Deva is nice however you focus extra on the visible choreography with Ranbir having fun with his playtime with fireplace because the tune performs in background. And Dance Ka Bhoot is only a missable monitor that does not stick with you for lengthy.
Watch Brahmastra as a result of it is not day by day that Bollywood churns out a movie on this grand scale, with top-class VFX and creates a mystical universe that we solely see within the West or nearer house within the south movie trade. And provided that it is a deliberate trilogy, you would be already left yearning for a component two sooner.
I would recommend Flow to anyone of any age. Kids will be captivated by it. Adults will be thoroughly entertained. I watched it with my wife and mother and we all loved it. The genius of *Flow* lies in its ability to tell a complex story without a single word of dialogue. Through masterful visual storytelling, we follow the journey of unlikely companions brought together by circumstance. The movie proves that friendship knows no species, and survival depends on cooperation.
What starts as a simple tale of animals escaping rising waters becomes a meditation on trust, growth, and the bonds we forge in times of crisis.

Old CG, but still effective
I’ll be honest: initially, I was a little put off by the low-quality CG. It looks like the CG from a game that came out 15 years ago. But in time, it gave me a feeling of nostalgia. Oh, for the days of Halo II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. And at no time was the low-res CG a limitation in telling the story.
There are numerous laugh-out-loud scenes and some real tension as well.
There is an extra after the end credits finish that you absolutely must see. It’s short, but you’ll be glad you saw it.

Fun fact
Director Gints Zilbalodis not only directed and wrote the film but also created the animation, composed the music, and produced the entire project largely by himself over three and a half years. It’s a testament to what passionate creators can achieve with modern animation tools.

This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let’s you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It’s really a wonderful app. I’ve subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn’t seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven’t tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!

Developers note: RunPee doesn’t make much money but it supports itself nicely. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We’ll add as many movies to the database as we can until there are no more movie theaters.

Nandamuri Balakrishna was conferred with the Padma Bhushan award a few days ago by the Indian government. Fans are thrilled with the news, and so is Balayya’s family.

A private event was held at Balayya’s farmhouse, with only a select few in attendance. A video from the event, where Balayya talks about his three favorite actresses, has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Balayya’s sister is seen asking him about his three favorite heroines, to which the star hero responds with Vijayashanti, Ramya Krishna, and Simran.
Balayya has worked in multiple films with these actresses in the past, delivering several industry hits. Stay tuned for more updates.
Tollywood star Ram Charan’s next biggie, RC 16, is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The actor is currently shooting for the film in Hyderabad, with Janhvi Kapoor playing his love interest.
Renowned cinematographer Ratnavelu ISC is handling the visuals for this project. In a recent interview, he revealed an interesting aspect of RC 16’s cinematography. He pointed out that many recent Hollywood films have been shot using negative film stocks, with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer being a prime example. Nolan opted for an old-school filmmaking approach, and now Ratnavelu is attempting something similar by using negative film stock for a portion of RC 16.

However, he acknowledged that this approach comes with challenges. Unlike digital filming, shooting on negative film means there is no room for multiple takes, as the film stock would be wasted. Despite the difficulties, his Oppenheimer-like experiment has received appreciation from the Eastman Kodak Company.
This development is exciting news for cinema enthusiasts who appreciate old-school filmmaking techniques. It remains to be seen how this experiment will shape the final output of RC 16.
The rural sports drama also features Jagapathi Babu, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and others in significant roles. RC 16 is being produced by Vriddhi Cinemas in collaboration with Sukumar Writings, with Mythri Movie Makers presenting the film. AR Rahman is composing the music. Stay tuned for further updates.
