American Pacific Mining Corp. has reported results from the 2023 Phase II rock and grab sampling programme at the recently acquired Danny Boy claims and western portion of the Tuscarora Project.
Of the 218 samples collected, 40 exceeded 1 g/t with the highest value of 100.84 g/t Au. The Danny Boy claims were acquired through the acquisition of Clearview Gold Inc. in 2023. Danny Boy is located immediately west and continuous to American Pacific’s Tuscarora Project located in Elko County, Nevada.

218 samples were collected during the fall 2023 exploration programme, with the highest value assaying 100.84 g/t Au.
Two assays reported greater than 850 g/t silver with a high value of 1305 g/t Ag.
Forty samples from the campaign assayed greater than 1 g/t Au, with 22 returning greater than 3 g/t Au.
Anomalous samples were collected from a variety of different rock types and textures, including veins and silica flooded volcanic rocks, indicating multiple mineralising events and styles.
“The acquisition of Danny Boy in 2023 completed the consolidation of the Tuscarora District,” stated Warwick Smith, CEO of American Pacific. “American Pacific has systematically assembled the largest land package in the recent history of the district. Gold values from past Danny Boy surface sampling have yielded up to 24 g/t Au, so the consistent multi-gramme gold assays and significant silver values exceeded our expectations and drill targets are emerging from our field programmes.”
Tuscarora was the site of historical production and this latest phase of rock sampling provides further evidence of significant grade, while highlighting the remaining potential within the now consolidated Tuscarora District.
“The Tuscarora District is not just about the high-grade epithermal veins. The underlying carbonate rocks encompassing the Carlin and Independence Trends, host 150 million oz of gold to the east and west of Tuscarora under a thrust sheet and in proximity to the largest heat engine ever seen in northeast Nevada,” commented Eric Saderholm, Managing Director of Exploration. “These CRD, skarn and Carlin-style mineralised trends have immense potential to dwarf anything in the near-surface epithermal environment.”

A judge in Las Vegas sentenced a Texas man to 100 years in prison for his role in a two-state shooting rampage on Thanksgiving 2020 that included the killing of a man in Nevada and a shootout with authorities in Arizona.
Christopher McDonnell, 32, pleaded guilty in October to more than 20 felonies including murder, attempted murder, murder conspiracy, weapon charges and being a felon illegally in possession of a firearm.
Clark county district judge Tierra Jones sentenced him on Friday to a minimum of 100 years in prison, KLAS-TV reported. If he’s still alive, he would be eligible for parole in 2120 with credit for time served.
McDonnell of Tyler, Texas, his brother Shawn McDonnell, 34, and Shawn McDonnell’s then wife, Kayleigh Lewis, 29, originally faced dozens of charges.

Police and prosecutors say the trio began an 11-hour rampage on 26 November 2020 that included apparently random shootings that killed Kevin Mendiola Jr, 22, at a convenience store in Henderson, near Las Vegas, and drive-by gunfire that wounded several other people.
The group then continued into Arizona, where there were additional shootings, including one involving a police officer. All three were arrested after their car rolled over.
Prosecutors said Lewis was the driver as the two brothers fired indiscriminately out of the vehicle’s windows. Shawn McDonnell and Lewis are awaiting trial.
The shooting rampage ended near the Colorado River town of Parker, Arizona, after a chase involving officers from the Arizona department of public safety, the crash of a car with a Texas license plate and the wounding of Shawn McDonnell by troopers wielding assault-style rifles, police said.
