Man who assaulted victim getting off bus in Santa Clarita area sought

A person who allegedly assaulted a sufferer as they had been getting off a bus within the Santa Clarita Valley space earlier this month is being sought by authorities.

The incident occurred about 10:35 a.m. March 21.

“The sufferer was bodily assaulted by the suspect after exiting a bus,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Division officers mentioned in against the law bulletin Wednesday.

The assailant then fled on foot and out of view.

Officers launched photographs of the person, described as being between 30 and 40 years previous. He seemed to be sporting one thing that coated his eyes and was holding a juice field.

Anybody with details about the assailant is requested to name Sgt. Inexperienced at 661-287-5615.

Actor Danny Trejo involved in July 4th parade brawl

Legendary actor and Los Angeles native Danny Trejo was involved in a fight at an Independence Day Parade in L.A.’s Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood on Thursday.

Witnesses say Trejo was riding in a vintage convertible when a paradegoer hurled a water balloon at him.

Video shared on social media shows Trejo, 80, get out of the car, walk to the sidewalk and throw a punch at a man, who countered and knocked the actor to the ground.

Other people got involved in the ensuing scuffle, including a woman who tried to restrain Trejo.

Law enforcement told TMZ that the crowd had dispersed by the time officers arrived, and no arrests were made.

Trejo, a former gang member who often portrays gangsters and tough guys in movies including “Machete,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” and “Once Upon a Time in Mexico,” spoke with TMZ, calling the incident “childish” and those who threw the water balloon at him “cowards.”

Trejo has parlayed his successful acting career into other fields. In recent years, he has opened a series of restaurants, donut shops and coffee shops and published a memoir in 2021.

Fireworks light up Southern California sky for July 4 celebrations

Watch fireworks light up the Southern California night sky as revelers celebrate the Fourth of July.

KTLA’s Gil Leyvas cruised the skies in Sky5, catching a fireworks show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena after a game between L.A. Galaxy and LAFC and later soaring across cities as they launched their local fireworks shows.

Mountain lion struck, killed on 405 Fwy

A mountain lion was struck and killed by a vehicle on the 405 Freeway near the Getty Thursday afternoon.

Officer Larsen of the California Highway Patrol confirmed that a deceased mountain lion was in the center divider of the freeway.

Aerial footage from Sky5 showed the cougar lying next to a traffic cone. It did not appear to have been tagged or collared.

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is responding to the scene.
