Oklahoma State softball live score updates vs. UCF
Thanks to a three-run home run with two outs in the top of the sixth inning, Central Florida cut OSU’s lead to 5-4.
UCF’s Sona Halajian drove a ball dead into the wind in left-center field, bringing home Savannah Adams and Stormy Kotzelnick.
It was just the third home run allowed by Lexi Kilfoyl this season.
After four strong innings from starting pitcher Ivy Rosenberry, Lexi Kilfoyl came out of the bullpen to start the fifth for Oklahoma State, which has a 5-1 lead on UCF.
The Knights scored in the top of the third inning with a one-out triple by Jada Cody, who scored when Chloe Evans snuck a single past the glove of OSU second baseman Rosie Davis.
The Cowgirls avoided damage in the top of the fourth with a couple of impressive defensive plays. Left fielder Claire Timm made a running grab on a sinking line drive along the foul line and right fielder Macy Graf ran down a ball that appeared heading for the right-center field gap.
Oklahoma State plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning and three more in the second for a 5-0 lead.
The scoring started with a two-run home run to center field by freshman Karli Godwin, who powered a line drive through the strong wind blowing in from left-center field, scoring Claire Timm.
Leadoff hitter Tallen Edwards came through in the top of the second with a fielder’s choice to score Scotland David. Katie Lott came in on a passed ball, and the final run of the inning scored when Timm beat out a two-out grounder to shortstop, allowing Edwards to come home.

Oklahoma County Commissioner comments on news of Myles Davidson’s resignation
Oklahoma County Commissioner Myles Davidson is resigning.
Commissioner Brian Maughan released a statement to Fox 25 Friday night regarding Davidson’s resignation saying it “allows us to focus on solving the problems with our budget this year and the construction of the new jail.”
News of his resignation comes just over a week after a Cleveland County judge granted a final order of protection against Davidson. Court records show the order is effective until March 11, 2029.
There have previously been calls for him to resign after allegations of sexual assault came to light in September.
Fox 25 is working to obtain more information about Davidson’s decision to resign.
