Augusta church offers ways to cool down as temperatures rise

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – As the week continues, we’re expecting a very hot couple of days.

If you are out and about in downtown Augusta, Saint Paul’s Church is offering some cool relief.

Their doors will be open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for anyone needing some air conditioning or even prayer.

“We’ve been blessed with this beautiful building here in the heart of the city and our effort as always is to try and take what we have and put it to use for God and the love of our neighbors,’ said Revered Dr. Eric Biddy. “On these especially hot days that we get in the summer, we hope that it could be a real help for folks who otherwise may not have the chance to cool down.”
