2 Killed In Pittsburg County Crash

Two individuals have been killed in a crash Saturday night in Pittsburg County, in accordance with the Oklahoma Freeway Patrol.

Troopers mentioned the crash occurred at round 7:45 p.m. on the Indian Nation Turnpike close to mile marker 80.

Christopher Pierson, 33, was touring northbound when he struck a deer, ran off the suitable facet of the street, struck a tree and overturned right into a creek, in accordance with troopers.

Each Pierson and the passenger, Darci Pierson, 28, have been pronounced useless on the scene, in accordance with OHP.

North Huntingdon Township making changes to emergency alert system

NORTH HUNTINGDON, Pa. (KDKA) — North Huntingdon is moving to a new way to send alerts to residents.

The township says residents will soon be able to update contact information, subscribe to different alerts, and get push notifications through an app.

The transition is set for July 15, 2024, and the township says all existing alert subscribers will be shifted to the new system called Everbridge, but people will need to create an Everbridge account to use the new features.
