Police ID man fatally shot by police in New Jersey
DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) — The New Jersey Legal professional Normal’s Workplace has revealed the sufferer’s identify who was shot and killed by a police officer on Sunday in Deptford.
The 55-year-old taking pictures sufferer was recognized as Daniel Nevius Sr., of Sicklerville, New Jersey.
Deptford Police Division responded to a residence on Fox Run Street after receiving a 911 name. Deptford Police Officer Luke Ivey fired his service weapon, putting Nevius Sr. round 1 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency Medical Personnel have been referred to as to the scene the place Nevius Sr. was pronounced useless at 1:55 p.m.
The investigation continues to be ongoing and being carried out in accordance with Legal professional Normal Directive 2019-4, which requires the AG to conduct the investigation of any dying that happens throughout an encounter with a regulation enforcement officer.

Woodbridge Woman, 34, Killed In Carteret Car Crash
CARTERET, NJ — An Avenel woman was killed in a car crash Saturday night in Carteret, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Carteret Police Chief Theodore Nycz.
The woman was identified as Cristina Flores 34, of the Avenel section of Woodbridge.
The crash occurred on the West Carteret Bridge on Roosevelt Avenue at 9:55 p.m. Saturday, and involved an Infiniti and Toyota Camry. Flores was driving the Infiniti. Both drivers sustained serious injuries, and Flores was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The driver of the Toyota Camry, a 23-year-old man from Carteret, was also seriously injured and was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where as of Sunday night he was being treated for his injuries.
Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Detective Guzman of the Carteret Police Department at 732-541-4181 or Detective Colonna the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-3354.

New Jersey lottery player wins $1 million in Saturday’s Powerball
A ticket sold in New Jersey won $1 million in Saturday night’s Powerball, according to the Powerball website.
The ticket matched all five white balls to win the million-dollar prize.
It was not immediately known where in the Garden State the winning the ticket was sold.
Powerball jackpot up to $285 million
There was no winner so the lottery jackpot will increase to an estimated $285 million with a cash option of $124.9 million for Monday night’s drawing,
The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot.
