9 people shot, including 1 teen, in apparent drive-by shooting in Newark
The incident occurred round 6:20 p.m. on the nook of Shephard and Clinton Place outdoors of a bodega.
4 grownup victims and a 17-year-old confirmed up at Newark Beth Israel Medical Heart with gunshot wounds.
4 different grownup victims had been taken to College Hospital, additionally for gunshot wounds.
All 9 victims are reportedly in steady situation, in keeping with officers.
Newark officers say there’s a car of curiosity, a white Honda Pilot that was stolen out of Jersey Metropolis.
They are saying it seems to have been a drive-by taking pictures.
The incident is beneath investigation.
