BREAKING: Milwaukee Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo In Danger Of Missing Nuggets Showdown With New Injury

While Monday’s showdown between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Denver Nuggets will pit two of the top teams in the NBA today against each other, there’s also no denying that all eyes will be on the individual matchup between Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic.

Unfortunately, one-half of this superstar duel is now in danger of missing this highly-anticipated showdown. This is after Giannis Antetokounmpo popped up on the injury report with an illness.

Giannis has been dealing with all sorts of injuries of late. After playing through a shoulder problem over the past few games, the former back-to-back MVP dealt with back spasms in Milwaukee’s last two contests.

This time around, however, Antetokounmpo is dealing with yet another new injury. Well, technically, it isn’t an injury per se. According to the official report, Giannis is currently dealing with an illness. The good news is that he is probable to play, which means that barring any unforeseen setbacks, the eight-time All-Star should be good to go on Monday night.

It remains unclear what type of illness Giannis is currently dealing with or when and where he caught the same. However, given the magnitude of Monday’s contest, you would think that only a significant injury would prevent Antetokounmpo from facing off against two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

Either way, this is still a situation worth monitoring, and we will be passing along any new information as they come.
