PREPARING FOR ‘ANARCHY’: ILLINOIS RESIDENTS REACT TO NEW LAW POISED TO HANDCUFF POLICE
Whereas not rising to the extent of felony conspiracy, Republicans like us, combating to avoid wasting our state from rising taxes and document crime, really feel like we’re up towards an analogous “inside sport.” The gamers: the Chicago Democratic Machine and the Chicago media.
Make no mistake – we’re a blue state. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Kerry, Al Gore, and Invoice Clinton all gained our state in resounding trend.
In 20 years a Republican has held the governor’s mansion solely as soon as and for only one time period. The final time we held the speakership within the Common Meeting, the Gin Blossoms had been the most well liked band within the nation and DVDs had simply begun to go on sale.
Illinois Republicans haven’t held a majority on the state supreme courtroom since our new structure was written in 1970. In the meantime, our Democratic counterparts have been in a position to cross probably the most gerrymandered maps within the nation – lowering accountability.
Regardless of these information – due to our governor’s document on crime, taxes, and corruption – we’ve obtained an opportunity.
ROOFTOP REVELATIONS: GOV. PRITZKER FAVORS FREEING MINORITY CRIMINALS OVER PROTECTING MINORITY VICTIMS
Our governor, J.B. Pritzker joined California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom and and then-New York Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo in instituting among the worst lockdowns within the nation.
Crime is at document highs and with the looming finish of money bail in our state, even Democratic State’s Attorneys are suing the Pritzker administration to cease the discharge of violent criminals. Now queue the within sport.
An out of doors group supporting Pritzker’s opponent Republican Darren Bailey ran an advert titled “Scream” looking for to convey to gentle voters’ high problem — the rise in crime.
The advert featured an assault happening on the streets of Chicago — an all too widespread incidence in Pritzker and Lori Lightfoot’s metropolis.
Gov. Pritzker and Illinois Dems feigned outrage that anybody dare convey to gentle the violence introduced out by their signature laws. Pritzker appealed to the Chicago media and the advert was taken down inside days. Whistle on crimson.
Attempting to carry onto their slim State Supreme Courtroom majority at any value, Democratic outdoors teams are spending thousands and thousands in aggressive judicial races to run jarring adverts accusing our candidates of eager to “criminalize” abortion.
Their sources? Nowhere to be discovered, as a result of they’re false. We enchantment to the ref, no name on blue. The adverts keep up.

Lately a candidate operating towards 30-year- Democratic incumbent Rep. Jan Schakowsky had a stand-in seem for him on the endorsement session of a suburban Chicago newspaper.
This was clearly a prank — although one which distracted from Schakowsky’s horrible document in Congress.
The Every day Herald successfully known as it an unprecedented affront on democracy and demanded condemnation from the State Republican Celebration. Flagrant foul on crimson.
In the meantime, they’ve fully ignored Congresswoman Schakowsky’s husband’s personal historical past as an anti-Trump provocateur responsible of the identical habits they condemned. No-call on blue.
We’re at a crossroads in our nation’s historical past. People’ belief within the skill of newspapers, tv and radio information reporting to ship the information pretty and actually hovers round document lows in accordance with a 2021 Gallup report.
Talking on the subject of media belief with former NBC Information “Right this moment Present” anchor Matt Lauer in 2017, former President George W. Bush stated frankly, “You used to matter extra when there have been like three of you.”
To his level, extra voters now search their information from social media or non-traditional sources than ever earlier than. The lesson is obvious — in an surroundings the place mainstream media retailers should compete for viewers, belief issues and if viewers don’t belief conventional media, they may go elsewhere for his or her information.
