CHICAGO (CBS) – Wednesday is LGBTQ+ Advocacy Day.

The group Equality Illinois and its companions from throughout the state are internet hosting an occasion on the state capitol.

It is meant to lift consciousness about priorities for the group and advance LGBTQ+ equality.

Immediately’s Advocacy Day comes sooner or later after the Metropolis of Elgin introduced its first-ever satisfaction parade occurring on June 3.

After the parade, individuals will be capable to get pleasure from a competition that includes performances from LGBTQ musicians and artists together with meals, drinks, and merchandise from native distributors.
