Which 9 major Ohio companies saw the most stock growth last week?


CLEVELAND, Ohio -Nine large Ohio companies saw stock growth last week of over 1%, three of which were Cleveland-area companies.

This was led by Columbus-based Bath & Body Works, which experienced 7.6% growth, or an added $3.66 a share.

No. 2. was Cleveland-area-based insurance company Progressive Corp., which experienced 3.6% growth or $7.27 a share.

Two other Cleveland-area companies made the list for stock growth of over 1% this week. They were Akron-based FirstEnergy Corp. and Cleveland manufacturer Cleveland-Cliffs.

Here is a listing of the nine Ohio companies with gains, by percent, courtesy of IEX Cloud and Stacker. Stocks are ranked by percent price change from May 24 to Friday.

The listing is limited to companies largely based in Ohio, listed on the Russell 3000 membership list, and with a market cap of over $5 billion on April 14.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – “We are out of space!” City Dogs Cleveland said as they begged for help after taking in 60 pups within just four days.

“Unfortunately, the dogs haven’t slowed down and we are not getting enough back into homes. We still urgently need help from our community to find homes for dogs!” City Dogs Cleveland stated on Nov. 8.
