‘Cuddle a Canine’ returns to the University of New Mexico on Oct. 23

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Furry friends will be making a return to the University of New Mexico to help students and faculty cope with the stress of the fall semester. The “Cuddle a Canine” event is put on by UNM libraries.
It offers the university a chance to relax and connect with therapy dogs alongside their dedicated owners from the Southwest Canine Corps of Volunteers. The event has been apart of the campus for more than 10 years.
The event is on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the cactus garden outside Zimmerman Library.
