Top- Jones gave up a double and hit a batter to put two runners on, but he gets out of it and the game remains 1-0 headed to the bottom of the 4th.
Bottom- Georgia Tech gets their first lead of the game. Bobby Zmarzlak got things rolling and then Mike Becchetti crushed a two-run home run to give the Yellow Jackets a 3-1 lead.

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas State football will host a new Division I foe in 2026. It’ll be a battle of the Wolves at the Vault when the Red Wolves host the Wolves of West Georgia on September 12, according to a contract received by K8 News.
AStateNation was the first to report.
West Georgia is set to join the FCS-conference Atlantic Sun on July 1, 2024, moving up from Division II. It will be the first matchup between the two schools.
UWG, a four-time winner of the Division II power Gulf South Conference, will receive $300,000 to play the matchup. The conference, which has accounted for 12 NCAA Division II Championships in its history, features schools like Valdosta State, West Alabama and West Florida.
