DOVER, Del. – The Delaware Diabetes Coalition is getting ready to host their annual Diabetes Wellness Expo.
The event is designed with patients in mind so people living with diabetes will have direct access to all the resources they need to stay on top of their health. The expo will offer services from health care providers, like health screenings, blood pressure checks, flu shots and more.
Organizers said educating patients is one of their priorities.
“There’s also an education component. So we put together a program that has breakout sessions and a keynote speaker that attendees can go to to learn more about specific topics,” said Sara Bluhm, Executive Director of the Delaware Diabetes Coalition.
The 22nd Annual Diabetes Wellness expo is free to all attendees. It will take place on November 12th at Del-Tech’s Terry Campus in Dover, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
