High schoolers build ‘Little Free Libraries’ around Atlanta neighborhoods

ATLANTA — Excellent news for e-book lovers: There’s little libraries coming to an Atlanta neighborhood. And all of the books are free thanks to 2 organizations and highschool college students serving to to drive change.

The Residence Depot Basis, 100 Black Males of Atlanta and Banneker Excessive College college students teamed up on Thursday to assist out their communities.

College students constructed “Little Free Libraries” for native colleges. The libraries will likely be positioned within the communities surrounding the varsity this spring.

Police investigating incident at northeast Atlanta apartment building

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Several police vehicles were seen at a northeast Atlanta apartment building on Saturday morning.

Atlanta police were called to Helios off Cheshire Bridge Road NE at around 8 a.m. Atlanta News First crews saw more than five patrol cars at the scene, alongside a Grady Memorial Hospital vehicle.

The details of the incident and investigation are currently unknown.
