Will Bryce Young play against the Atlanta Falcons today? Latest injury update on the Carolina Panthers’ star player | NFL News – Times of India

The 2024 NFL season for the Carolina Panthers has not been a good one. While the Panthers started out strong initially, they quickly lost their momentum. For the Carolina Panthers’ fans, when the team went against the Tampa Bay Buaccanners on 29th December 2024 and lost the match, it was truly devastating as now things are pretty difficult for the team. Even though today the Panthers will be going against the Atlanta Falcons, there are actually more hopes of the Atlanta Falcons winning today.

Will Panthers’ QB Bryce Young play in Sunday’s game against the Falcons?

Yes, Bryce Young will be playing for its team, the Carolina Panthers, against the Atlanta Falcons today. Young has not appeared on the injury report of the Carolina Panthers this week so he should be playing for his team today.
But honestly, the young player has shown commitment towards his team and the NFL. Back in Week 17, it was reported that Young suffered a hamstring injury and yet the committed player was present for full practices and also played for his team as they went against the Tampa Bay Buccanners.

Bryce Young’s Injury Update

Back in Week 16 of the 2024 NFL season, Young had suffered a blow when he was playing against the Arizona Cardinals. He laid flat on the field but he picked himself up.

As per ESPN, Robert Hunt, the guard later spoke about Young’s injury as Hunt tried to help him. He said, “I was like, ‘S—, you alright?’ He was smiling, so he’s ready to play. Man, that kid is tough as nails, and I give him a lot of credit.”
While it is not known if Young suffered the hamstring injury during this game, immediately after this game, he was reported to be injured.
Bryce Young has really shown his potential in the 2024 NFL season. In Week 2 of this season, Young was benched for Andy Dalton but things changed when in week 8, Dalton suffered a thumb injury due to a car accident and Young was sent back as the starter on the field.
Even after Dalton returned from his injury, Young’s status as the starter on the field did not change because of how well he played on the field. In the game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Carolina Panthers lost by a very low margin of 27-30, showing how well Young performed.
While Young’s performance on the field has been exceptional, the team has not been able to perform well. Currently, the Atlanta Falcons are in a better position as they need to win tomorrow and have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose, to make sure they are well into the playoffs this season and win the NFC South.
