10-year-old boy hit by bullet fired into SW Atlanta home
ATLANTA – A ten-year-old boy has been rushed to the hospital after police say a gunman unloaded a number of rounds into his residence early Tuesday morning.
Atlanta police have confirmed with FOX 5 that the taking pictures occurred round 4 a.m. at a house on the 800 block of Washington Avenue SW in Atlanta’s Peoplestown neighborhood.
Investigators say the boy was sleeping inside the house when a suspect or suspects fired a number of photographs on the residence.
The ten-year-old sufferer – who was one among a number of kids within the residence on the time of the taking pictures – was shot within the hand. FOX 5 cameras noticed paramedics carrying the kid out into an ambulance to take him to an area hospital. Finally report, he was alert, acutely aware, and respiratory.
Police are working to find out whether or not the taking pictures was focused or only a random act of violence. Investigators at the moment are going door to door looking for video surveillance of what occurred.
Right now, police haven’t recognized any suspects related with the taking pictures.
When you’ve got any details about the taking pictures, name the Atlanta Police Division.

Atlanta Falcons depth chart released for regular season finale
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons return home to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for their final game of the 2024 regular season.
The NFL announced recently that the game between the Falcons and Carolina Panthers will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast on CBS.
Atlanta will once again need a little help to reach the postseason after losing a tight overtime game to the Washington Commanders. That leaves the Falcons in the uncomfortable position of rooting for their most hated rival, who we don’t have to name here, to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18. A Tampa Bay loss, coupled with an Atlanta win, puts the Falcons into the playoffs. Ultimately, though, the Falcons are focused on controlling the outcome of their game, and the rest of the chips will fall where they may.
