Chris Hemsworth is officially Ed Sheeran’s biggest fan.
The Thor star attended the British singer’s concert for the third time this year over the weekend, travelling to New Jersey with his best mate Matt Damon for the gig.
The Aussie actor shared footage of himself and Matt fooling around with Ed backstage.
Ed and Chris looked like old pals as they playfully shook each other’s hands and shared a laugh with the Good Will Hunting Star.
‘Saw Ed Sheeran for the 3rd time this year. Some say I’m a super fan, others say I’m a borderline stalker… mostly Ed says that actually,’ he said.

Chris went on to call himself a ‘supportive mate’.
‘But hey I’m just a really supportive mate. Congrats on breaking stadium records once again, champ!’ he added.
The group was also joined by celebrity British chef, Gordon Ramsay.
The concert took place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey where there was a record-breaking attendance of 89,000 fans.

Chris and Ed have long enjoyed a close friendship. In February Chris shared footage of the pair trading tools backstage at his Brisbane concert.
Ed, who was on the Australian leg of his Mathematics world tour, handed Chris his guitar while the actor gave him a prop resembling Thor’s hammer in return.
‘So basically I am really into like trading trade tools for trade tools,’ the Shape of You hitmaker said in the clip.

‘I’m going to give one of my guitars in return for someone else’s tool.’
Chris then appeared on-screen, declaring: ‘I’m going to trade tools as well. I have a tool I am going to pass on.’
Ed swapped one of his stage guitars for Chris’ Thor hammer, before each signed the items with their autographs.
‘I think we should trade professions because I think I would make a better [Thor],’ Ed joked.
Earlier that weekend, Ed was seen spending time with Chris’ brother Liam, who celebrated his 32nd birthday
Chris appeared very pleased with the trade as he strummed away on Ed’s guitar.
‘Just an instrumental trade off between two blokes,’ Chris captioned the post.
‘Ed Sheeran, I’ll make this guitar sing like no other and you swing that hammer with all your soul. Love you brother!’
