Ohio Stadium — 105,473
Ohio State head coach Ryan Day
On the group at Ohio Stadium…
“I simply need to begin off once more by thanking the unbelievable crowd. From the bounce: the cranium session, the stroll, the start of the sport, all the best way to the top. There was lots of people that hung round on the finish of that recreation and we don’t take that with no consideration. So, we actually admire Buckeye Nation and the those that had been right here tonight.”
On the defensive secondary…
“Jyaire and JK have been practising. We advised them proper earlier than the sport that everyone on the crew believes in them and we do. They’d no worry, they usually went on the market and performed, they usually did a very good job. I don’t know what the movie’s going to point out, however I do know they competed. I assumed Tim Walton did a very good job getting them prepared. I’m happy with these guys to have the ability to win a convention recreation with them in there.”
On the operating recreation with Treveyon Henderson and Miyan Williams…
“I feel it’s simply the mentality of we all know how lengthy the season’s going to be. When you’ve two guys which you could trip, backwards and forwards, who’re unselfish, who perceive what it means to be a crew, that’s the important thing. If it begins to turn out to be ‘What are my carries? What are my touchdowns? What are my runs?’, then it doesn’t work. Treveyon and Miyan each have been wonderful. Treveyon’s vitality earlier than the sport was off the chart; you would simply really feel it. I felt it in warmups, I felt it within the locker room, I felt it popping out of the locker room, after which he ran that means. He simply ran arduous, he ran bodily, he ran with vitality, and so did Miyan. Miyan ran arduous. Hats’s off to the offensive line and tight ends; I assumed they actually moved the road of scrimmage as we speak towards a superb protection.”
On the crew’s physicality and transferring ahead…
“I feel you’ll be able to see what this crew is made from. I feel we’ve proven within the first 4 video games what we will do, what we’re able to. The massive problem in school soccer, is you must convey it each week and that’s the aggressive normal we’ve been speaking about. Each single week you must convey it. Pretty much as good as this feels and as a lot as we need to have fun this, we will’t spend an excessive amount of time patting ourselves on the again after this factor, which is difficult as a result of it’s one heck of a win for us. To play like we did tonight, it was lots of work, I’m very happy with our crew; I’m happy with our gamers, happy with the best way the protection got here in and a few of the guys stepped up. We noticed lots of good to go round on this recreation, however the powerful factor is you don’t have an excessive amount of time to speak about that; you must be on to the following crew. We’ll attempt to get pleasure from this the most effective we will tonight and just a little bit tomorrow.”
Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud
On his play this season…
“It’s not likely my place to evaluate. In fact I’m going to hearken to the coaches and Coach Day. Their suggestions is what issues. If we’re successful, I don’t actually care [about my individual play]. I don’t assume it’s simply me – it’s the offensive line and receivers too. I’m blessed to be on this place.”
On the Buckeyes’ execution within the first quarter…
“Every part begins in follow; we follow so arduous on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. That’s undoubtedly the place it begins, however to verify all the things goes effectively – the coaches did an awesome job of play calling. After that, it’s our job to execute. I attempted to get everyone to relax and simply attempt to have enjoyable.”
On Cade Stover…
“Cade is certainly a Swiss military knife – he can run, he can block as effectively. He can actually do something. It’s wonderful to see his work repay. He’s one of many first individuals who took me underneath his wing after I first bought to highschool and he’s an excellent higher particular person than a soccer participant.”
Ohio State tight finish Cade Stover
On his first (and second) profession touchdowns…
“I’m tremendous excited to be a part of one thing particular like this, and people balls haven’t gone my means so I used to be pleased. There are lots of issues that went into that – lots of lengthy nights going into one thing so small, so particular for me. I’m simply actually pleased to assist the crew.”
On his relationship with Coach Day…
“That’s particular, I imply, he’s one of many predominant the reason why I caught round this place so long as I did. That’s a particular dude. That’s somebody I’d lay my neck on the road for any day.”
On the win over Wisconsin…
“It’s one other step in the suitable route for us. [Wisconsin is] a prideful, powerful program. That’s what they’re identified for. For us to try this on the market and actually to drive our will on these guys like that, we’re stepping in the suitable route each single week – each single day. So I’m actually excited.”
On his bond with C.J. Stroud…
“To have the ability to play with that man, that makes issues rather a lot simpler for everyone. We come from completely different sides of the world, however we now have the identical mindset on all the things. And that’s a troublesome child. That’s a dude that 20 years from now, if he wants one thing, the cellphone is getting picked up and I’m going to get it performed, no matter he wants. That’s simply type of the bond we’ve created right here.”
Ohio State linebacker Tommy Eichenberg
On his play…
“I simply go on the market and play. I consider in myself. I simply attempt to get higher every single day. Coach all the time places us in nice positions to succeed, however I simply attempt to get higher every single day.”
On the cornerbacks tonight…
“We belief Jyaire Brown and JK Johnson. They did an awesome job. Going ahead, we have to do our jobs, irrespective of who’s again there. We’re assured in these guys – we’re assured in anybody we put on the market.”
On Wisconsin’s operating again Braylon Allen…
“He runs arduous behind an awesome O-line . We did an awesome job making an attempt to get him down the primary time. It was a problem making an attempt to deal with him, however typically you simply have to deal with him.”
On Ohio State’s offense…
“[The offense’s play] simply makes us play with confidence. We concentrate on getting the ball again to the offense. The offense helps the protection, and the protection helps the offense.”
On Massive Ten competitors…
“Wisconsin is an efficient crew. Your entire Massive Ten is sweet. Totally different groups play effectively in numerous areas.”

Gas prices drop lower during busy holiday travel season in Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Gas prices are the cheapest they’ve been since the pandemic, just as people prepare to travel for the holidays.
According to AAA Wisconsin, the average gas prices is $2.86 per gallon in the state, a new low since 2020.
”We’ve had so many disruptions in the last four to five years between Covid and then the Ukraine conflict that has sent prices either far down or bringing them to historic highs,” AAA Director of Public Affairs Nick Jarmusz said. “We kind of forget what normal is.”
He said the low cost at the pump is a result of peak summer travel season ending, an even supply and demand for fuel and fewer global crises.
”Right now we’re in a pretty favorable balance between lower demand and pretty plentiful supply and no real disruptions to speak of,” he said.
People can save more money at the pump if they drive the speed limit.
”By sticking closer to the speed limit, avoiding aggressive driving in situations, you can actually increase your fuel efficiency by about 40% or up to 40%,” Jarmusz said. “Which can add up to pretty significant savings.”
If trends continue, he also said prices might drop even more. ”Really, I would not be surprised to see these prices continue to go down,” Jarmusz said. “I don’t think we’ve seen the lowest prices we’ll see this year yet.”
According to AAA the best times to travel before Thanksgiving on Thursday is in the morning hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. Roads will be busiest in the afternoons.
