Spencer was an excellent American poet of the Harlem Renaissance, a civil rights activist and a passionate gardener. Her life story is an instance of the facility of Black girls in essentially the most hostile settings. The Anne Spencer Home & Backyard Museum is positioned in Lynchburg, Va., and is a testomony to the facility of the backyard as a spot of inspiration and sanctuary.

He is the first Chinese American cast member on SNL, the co-host the podcast Las Culturistas, and he starred in the rom-com Fire Island. He talks to Rachel about living too much in the present, hard truths from Tina Fey, and why the afterlife should have a rollercoaster.
