Authorities in California say {that a} teenage boy has been arrested for allegedly attempting to recruit others to hitch him in a mass capturing and bombing plot.

Police say the 16-year-old male was arrested after they acquired a tip on Saturday that he was recruiting others to hold out the capturing and bombing at Berkeley Excessive Faculty in Berkeley, California, KTVU reported.

After acquiring a search warrant, police searched the boy’s residence and located elements for explosives, assault rifles, knives, and electronics that might be used to make weapons.
