Iowa State football alum Allen Lazard attends Cyclones game vs. Texas Tech

Iowa State football had a special guest in attendance for its game against Texas Tech.

Former Cyclones and Urbandale star wide receiver Allen Lazard made his return to Jack Trice Stadium, taking time to take pictures with fans on the field before the game.

Lazard was put on injured reserve by the New York Jets on Thursday after suffering a chest injury in Week 7. His team earned a win on Thursday Night Football in Week 9 of this NFL season, giving him a rare weekend off during the season.
