The Sooners squared off against the SMU Mustangs in their most recent game, winning 28-11. The Golden Hurricane are coming off of a 43-10 loss to the Washington Huskies.

In that matchup with the Mustangs, Dillon Gabriel had 176 yards on 19-of-27 passing (70.4%) for the Sooners, with four touchdowns and no interceptions. Roman Fuller threw for 85 yards for the Cane against the Huskies, going 12-for-18 (66.7%) with one touchdown and no interceptions. Jordan Ford carried the ball 15 times for 67 yards. He caught two passes for nine yards. Braylin Presley caught three passes on five targets for 54 yards (18.0 yards per reception).
