Man steals Maryland Live! casino voucher, drives at victim with his car
HANOVER, Md. — A person is accused of stealing a voucher from a Maryland Dwell! On line casino slot machine, then driving on the sufferer when he was confronted, on Friday afternoon.
Anne Arundel County police stated the theft occurred at about 3 p.m. Dec. 2, on the on line casino on Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover.
The sufferer advised police {that a} male took a voucher from the slot machine the place he was playing. The sufferer adopted him exterior and stood in entrance of the suspect’s car, attempting to maintain him from leaving.
The suspect then drove on the sufferer and pushed him out of the way in which together with his car.
No accidents have been reported.

Maryland State employees getting an extra holiday, Christmas Eve
MARYLAND — In a statement emailed out Saturday afternoon, Governor Wes Moore, says state workers are getting an extra holiday in 2024, Christmas Eve.
“Our state employees have worked tirelessly all year long ensuring that Maryland is safer, more affordable, more competitive and the state that serves. We hope that all of our incredible public servants across the state can take a much-needed day to be with their loved ones this holiday season.”
The day will be treated like any other state employee holiday. This will make Tuesday, the 14th holiday for state employees.
