Consuela Ann “Bubbles” Palmer, 52, of Watertown
WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Consuela Ann “Bubbles” Palmer, 52, of Burns Ave, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023 at home, under the loving care of her family and Jefferson County Hospice.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 2-4 pm at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. There will be no service or burial.
Consuela was born on July 3, 1971 in Gouverneur, NY, the daughter of John M. and Glenda D. (Reynolds) Wright. After her schooling, she worked as a housekeeper on Fort Drum. She later relocated to Dayton, Ohio where she worked in retail management. She moved back to Watertown last year to be near her family.
Her family remembers her as a good person who loved making people happy. Her family, especially her grandchildren, were her world. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her mother, Glenda Wright of Georgia; her significant other, Jared Howell of Watertown; three sons, Jerome (Danielle) Wright of Watertown, Julian Palmer of Cleveland, OH, and Joshua (Britney Matteson) Palmer of Watertown; a sister, Pamala King of Watertown; two brothers, Robert Stevens of Augusta, GA and Thomas Wright of Ohio; an aunt, who was much like a mother to her, Gail (Lester) Campbell of Canisteo, NY; 7 beloved grandchildren with 2 on-the-way, Donovan, Jeremih, Kalen, Liam, Elijah, Harlow, and Angelo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, John Wright.

Person wanted for questioning about Augusta aggravated assault
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a person wanted for questioning in connection to an aggravated assault in downtown Augusta.
The person is wanted for questioning about an aggravated assault, which occurred on Sunday, November 24, in the 400 Block of Broad Street.

The Major Rager Sets 2025 Lineup: Greensky Bluegrass, Eggy, Easy Honey
The Major Rager has announced the artist lineup for its 11th annual event, set to take place in Augusta, GA on April 12th, 2025 during The Masters. The long-running event takes its name from the professional golf tournament with which it coincides—one of four tournaments known collectively as “the majors.”
Jamgrass favorites Greensky Bluegrass will headline the 2025 edition of The Major Rager. The single-day event, produced by Friends With Benefits Productions, will also feature performances by ever-rising jam quartet Eggy and Charleston, SC-native rock outfit Easy Honey.
