Real Housewives Of Atlanta: Drew Sidora cries after arguing with Shereé Whitfield on Portugal trip

Drew Sidora stormed out of dinner in tears during a trip to Portugal after arguing with Shereé Whitfield on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.

The 38-year-old actress and singer got up from the table crying after having a heated exchange with Shereé, 53, during night one of the trip and walked out of the restaurant.

‘Go take care of your guest,’ said Marlo Hampton, who recently clashed with Drew, to Sheree. ‘Her feelings are hurt.’

‘My feelings are hurt, too, Marlo,’ Sheree said.

‘This is your event, go make it right,’ Marlo, 47. told her.

Tears flowing: Drew Sidora stormed out of dinner in tears during a trip to Portugal after arguing with Shereé Whitfield on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta

The season 15 episode titled ‘Healing by Sheree’ opened with Drew’s husband Ralph Pittman, 40, hosting a brunch for the women before their trip to Portugal.

Kandi Burruss, 47, and Todd Tucker, 42, were the first to arrive followed by Sanya Richards-Ross, 38, her NFL alum husband Aaron Ross; Courtney Rhodes, 48, and her ex-partner Bryce Wilson.

‘Courtney is just full of surprises,’ Kandi said in a confessional. ‘I am shocked that Bryce is her baby’s father. He’s such a nice guy. How did he ever put up with her?’

Drew brought her sister Allison to the brunch. Sheree and Kenya Moore, 52, arrived right before Monyetta Shaw, 43, and her husband Heath. Marlo and her new man chef Scotley Innis, 38, were the last to arrive. Kenya’s boyfriend Roi called and Marlo told everyone at the table that she went on a date with him before.

‘Oh my god no!’ Drew said.

‘Marlo and Kenya dating the same guy is the first thing they’ve ever agreed on,’ Drew said in a confessional. ‘So, they’re winning in that department.’

Marlo said that Roi was in her DM’s one day and then they started talking and went out on one date.

‘I’m glad he realized then that she wasn’t the one so he can date me, baby,’ Kenya said.

‘I don’t think Kenya was comfortable getting Marlo’s sloppy seconds,’ Drew said in a confessional.

‘Enjoy the leftovers, b****,’ Marlo said in a confessional.

Sheree then asked Drew at the table if the chef preparing their brunch was going to get paid because there was talk on the Internet that she didn’t pay one of her chefs.

‘It’s a lawsuit but it’s being handled by my attorneys, but there’s a lot of false information on the Internet,’ Drew said. ‘She wanted to come and cook for my family and try some of her food, and it had a hair in it, and it was very trash.’

Drew said the woman did not get the job but then went running to the media to do interviews and was suing her for $1,000.

‘A thousand dollars?’ Kenya said.

‘So this chef is going to get paid?’ Sheree said pointing to the man in the kitchen.

‘Why are you messing with me?’ Drew said. ‘We are supposed to be good.’

The next day the women packed for the trip to Portugal. Kandi had food poisoning but still got on the flight. They took a bus to the Algarve area. Sheree told everyone it was a healing trip and wanted everyone to get along.

‘Some of these ladies need help,’ Sheree said in a confessional. ‘These grown a** women don’t know how to act.’

Kandi was happy when she arrived at the W Hotel and was greeted with champagne because she had been sick on the plane.

The women sat down for lunch. Drew said that Ralph was in Las Vegas on a work trip.

‘Are you worried about him in Vegas?’ Kenya asked.

Drew said no but revealed that her music video producer is also a producer on Chocolate City and suggested Ralph audition.

‘Now he’s in Vegas,’ Drew said in a confessional. ‘God knows what he is doing.’

‘Ralph in Black Magic Mike?’ Marlo said in a confessional.

The women checked in and went to their rooms.

‘Everybody in our circle is getting along,’ Drew said. ‘I think just trying to mend their problems and mend their relationship. Sheree just brought up my whole lawsuit that’s on the blogs and I Just felt like, girl, come on now.’

Kenya and Kandi spent some time catching up.

‘Did it weird you out when Marlo said that she had went out with him before?’ Kandi asked.

‘No, he told me,’ Kenya said.

‘Rob is fine, handsome, young and eligible, and he does not have to pay for p***y,’ Kenya said in a confessional. ‘It was not a date.’

The women got changed for dinner and got into a waiting Sprinter van and went to an authentic Portuguese restaurant.

‘This trip is for me and hopefully for everybody putting everything on the table,’ Sheree said. ‘Anything you have an issue with. Something that has been weighing on you.’

Courtney started and said she didn’t realize that Kenya had an issue with her.

‘The reason I asked you to stop touching me is because initially it was like, ”Oh, girl, you know, haha,” and you were laughing,’ Kenya said. ‘ And then it became very condescending.’

‘To me, I keep getting mean girl energy from you and I don’t think that’s probably who you are to the rest of them,’ Courtney said.

Drew then told Sheree that she didn’t appreciate that she questioned her at brunch about something she read about on a blog. Drew said she also learned that Sheree also talked about it behind her back.

‘You let me down because you were talking about a very serious situation,’ Drew said.

‘Well, you let me down as well,’ Sheree said.

Drew said she needed to demonstrate that she was a real friend.

‘First of all you started out with a lie,’ Sheree said. ‘Once we left the reunion, did you not lie on me? So you think I had loyalty to you. Did you go on a radio station and lie?’

‘We already talked about that,’ Drew said of her mentioning that the She by Sheree merchandise they were given got taken away after the season 11 reunion.

‘Let’s not bring up old s***,’ Drew said. ‘Let’s talk about the s*** that’s happening right now.’

‘Some of the stuff was taken back at the reunion,’ Kandi said.

‘Whoever did that ain’t got nothing to do with me,’ Sheree said.

‘So you think we’re making it up,’ Kandi said.

‘Yes, I do,’ Sheree said.

‘I didn’t get any Sheree gifts,’ Drew said.

‘Well, that’s on you,’ Sheree said. ‘Marlo got 15 shirts, I heard.’

‘Someone asked us to return the gear,’ Kenya said in a confessional. ‘That’s a fact.’

‘I got at least four or five pieces, easy,’ Marlo said.

Drew said they had already moved forward and didn’t think it was cool that Sheree was talking about a lawsuit that had been filed against her.

‘It doesn’t feel good,’ Sheree said.

‘So you are trying to teach me a lesson?’ Drew said. ‘You’re trying to be tit for tat?’

‘You are incapable of moving forward,’ Drew said. ‘How are you doing a trip about healing, and you can’t heal your damn self.’

‘I actually brought it to you,’ Sheree said.

‘Thank you for letting me know you’re incapable,’ Drew said.

‘And you’re a liar,’ Sheree said.

Drew said she would like Sheree to apologize to her and own what she said.

‘I would like you to apologize and own it,’ Sheree said.

‘I’m going to need you to do better as a host,’ Kenya said to Sheree.

‘I am a work in progress,’ Sheree said.

The show ended with a To Be Continued message for viewers.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta will return next Sunday on Bravo.

Former Atlanta officer's lawyers ask judge to drop felony murder charges

Federal court filings reveal that a judge will decide whether the felony murder case against former Atlanta Police Officer Sung Kim will proceed or be dismissed under federal immunity.

“He was murdered. He was unarmed, surrendered, complied while posing no threat,” Jimmy Hill, father of Jimmy Atchison, told FOX 5. “And yet he was shot.”

Hill has demanded Kim stand trial for the 2019 shooting of his 21-year-old son, who was unarmed and hiding in a closet when he was killed.

Investigators said Kim was part of an FBI task force at the time, and Atchison was wanted on an attempted robbery charge.

What we know:

A Fulton County grand jury indicted Kim in 2022 on charges including felony murder, involuntary manslaughter, and violation of oath.

His attorneys successfully moved the case from state to federal court, arguing he was acting as a federal law enforcement officer.

They have now filed a motion to dismiss the charges, claiming Supremacy Clause immunity.

The other side:

In their motion, Kim’s attorneys argue he acted in self-defense, stating Atchison “raised his hand as if pointing a gun.”

Because Kim was on a federal task force at the time, the motion argues Kim “was acting reasonably and not beyond what was necessary and proper as a federal law enforcement officer.”

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office responded in a filing that deadly force was not justified.

“Here, deadly force was not the degree of force needed to defend against Atchison’s alleged conduct,” prosecutors wrote.

The backstory:

At the time of the shooting, Kim’s body camera was not on, in compliance with U.S. Department of Justice guidelines.

Following Atchison’s death, those guidelines have changed, and the Atlanta Police Department has stopped participating in these task forces.

What’s next:

There is no indication of when the judge will rule on Kim’s motion to dismiss the case.

Hill vows to keep fighting for justice for his son.

Neither the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office nor the lawyers listed for Kim on court filings returned requests for comment.

Atlanta Chef Will Compete on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship

Atlanta Chef Will Compete on Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship

Food Netwrok is tapping Atlanta for desserts. Local pastry chef Jon’nae “Jaye” Smith will compete on season 11 of Food Network’s Spring Baking Championship. This follows season 10, when Atlanta pastry chef Nickey Boyd was a finalist on the show.

“When I got the call, I remember running out into the living room, and I leaped so high, I could’ve flown through the roof,” says Smith, who grew up watching Food Network shows with her father, an avid cook.

“I got into baking out of curiosity,” says Smith. “I remember I made a dense cake, and I didn’t know why that cake was coming out so hard. Like, why are we eating rocks?”

That curiosity led her to culinary school at Johnson and Wales University in 2017. Since graduating, Smith has worked in and around Atlanta as a pastry chef, including at Canoe under pastry chef Jennifer Paul, the Loews Hotel, the Hill at Serenbe, and with executive chef Demetrius Brown (also a Hill at Serenbe alum) on supper clubs at Bread and Butterfly. Smith began her baking career by interning at the Four Seasons in Atlanta and then at Disney’s Four Seasons in 2017. She is part of The New South, a collective of Black chefs who host dinners around Atlanta. She does not make dense cakes anymore.

“It’s been overwhelming to receive the amount of support I’ve been receiving from my peers,” says Smith. “I’m so grateful for my community. I consider it a luxury.”

Chef Smith loves “drama”

Though she wasn’t allowed to reveal dish details from the show, Smith has a distinct baking style.

“I like flavors from the Caribbean or the South — I love mago. Crunch is a big feel for me — a crumble, a twill, a cookie, or a macaron,” says Smith. “I’m a sauce girl for life. Even if it tastes good without a sauce, no girl, put the sauce on there. I use a lot of infused chantilly, especially with alcohol. And then drama. I love drama.”

Smith says her culinary training at Disney prepared her for speed, volume, and accuracy on delivering thousands of plated desserts. But even that didn’t prepare her for the time restraint on the show’s challenges.

“Filming on the show was a blur. You’ve got to put an eight-hour shift into an hour and a half to do the challenge,” says Smith.

Plus, Smith says, the pantry on the show lacked a key ingredient. “There could’ve been a better variety of types of chocolates. It wasn’t the best,” says Smith, laughingly. “And the heavy cream wasn’t great.”

As for judges’ critiques, Smith says she got one token of advice she will carry with her throughout her career.

“A pinch of salt,” says Smith. “A pinch of salt goes a long way.”

The new season of Spring Baking Championship will premiere on Food Network on March 10 at 8 p.m. ET.
