The Extra Point Where does Alabama need to Improve the Most?

As Alabama appears to kickoff towards Arkansas this week, there are nonetheless some points with the Crimson Tide heading into the matchup with the Hogs.

Maybe the largest downside to date this season has been the offensive line, one thing followers are accustom to during the last two seasons. Whereas Bryce Younger has not been sacked loads over these first 4 video games (4), the road has not confronted a tricky defensive position like Arkansas’. Younger was not sacked within the SEC opener towards Vanderbilt, however the NCAA sack leaders in Arkansas would possibly result in extra challenges up entrance.

Alabama’s latest street success has been a combined bag of outcomes, with sloppy video games final 12 months towards Texas A&M and Florida, and the nail-biting recreation towards Texas this 12 months proving that the Tide must step it up going to Fayetteville. Arkansas’ protection is 126th in move protection, however they’re a high 30 run protection this season, that means that the presence up entrance for Alabama will probably be loads harder than the likes of Vanderbilt and UL-Monroe.

The Tide may even look to the run recreation this week, because the trenches will present a bonus to maintain the likes of KJ Jefferson and the Arkansas offense off the sphere. With Jace McClellan getting the majority of the yards final week, the Tide operating recreation will look to enhance on the Vanderbilt recreation, the place they arguably had their greatest recreation.
