Police honor ‘guardian angel’ DoorDash driver who saved her customer’s life during food delivery

Police honored a Massachusetts DoorDash driver final week for saving the lifetime of one among her prospects.
Sophia Furtado, 26, arrived at a Fairhaven, Massachusetts, dwelling to finish a DoorDash supply in February solely to search out the shopper, Caryn Sullivan, unconscious on the bottom and bleeding from her head. Police say medical doctors on the hospital have been “adamant” that Sullivan would have succumbed to her accidents if there had been any delay in her care. Police awarded Furtado with a “Life Saving Award” in an April 20 ceremony.
“She was my guardian angel,” Sullivan stated on the ceremony. “If I did not have her, I might in all probability be useless.”

Voting by mail
Connecticut began absentee voting on Friday. Applicants will need to provide an excuse to receive a ballot. The resident must receive a ballot application by Nov. 4, and that ballot must be delivered to county officials by Nov. 5.

Early in-person voting
Connecticut will begin early in-person voting Oct. 21, and it will continue through Nov. 3.

Voter registration
Connecticut residents can register to vote online or by mail through Oct. 18. They can register in person at any time during early voting as well as on Election Day.

Mike Tomlin acknowledged the challenge by stating, “It’s very difficult to get on a moving train.” However, Smith’s loyalty to Jefferson and Fields seems to be preventing the Wilsons from hopping on the proverbial locomotive, which could then provoke Pittsburgh to exaggerate the severity of the injuries to save face.
