Deadly motorcycle crash in Dorchester, NH


New Hampshire State Police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash in Grafton County.

It happened on Route 118 in Dorchester near Town House Road shortly after 5:00 Saturday evening. Troopers say an eastbound motorcycle failed to make it around a curve, crossed the center line and struck an oncoming car. A passenger on the motorcycle — Madeline Tredo, 23, of Meredith, New Hampshire — was killed. There was no indication from investigators if anyone else was injured, nor did they disclose the motorcycle operator’s name.

Route 118 was closed near the scene for several hours. Troopers are asking anyone who was nearby at the time of the crash to call Troop F in Twin Mountain at (603) 846-3333.

New Hampshire man arrested following Bernardston crash


BERNARDSTON, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A New Hampshire native was arrested after serious two-car crash on Friday afternoon.

According to the Bernardston Police Department, at around 3:22 p.m. officers were at the scene of Route 10 and Turners Falls Road for reports of a vehicle crash.

But there were no injuries reported in the crash.

Officials revealed one of the drivers of the accident as a 42-year-old man from Dublin, New Hampshire who was arrested for having possession of a firearm, ammunition, and an unnamed “Class B Drug” on him at the time of that incident.

He is being charged with the following

  • Operating with Suspended License
  • Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle
  • Failure to Use Care when Stopping/Starting/Turning
  • Carry Loaded Firearm without License
  • Possess Ammo without FID
  • Carry a Dangerous Weapon
  • Possess a Class B Drug

Driver arrested after crashing into New Hampshire state trooper in Haverhill – Newport Dispatch


HAVERHILL — A woman is facing serious charges after colliding with a New Hampshire State Police cruiser in Haverhill.

On Wednesday, Aug. 21, Trooper Jawara Conde was dispatched to assist Haverhill Police Department officers in pursuit of a white Hyundai Elantra that had failed to obey a stop request.

While traveling north on County Road, Trooper Conde spotted the vehicle heading southbound, driving erratically and swerving across lanes.

Despite activating his emergency lights to initiate a stop, the Hyundai, driven by Abigail Ordway, 38, of Littleton, struck the cruiser.

Ordway attempted to flee by reversing and turning the vehicle around, but ended up off the road in a ditch.

Ordway was arrested and faces felony charges, including reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, operating after habitual offender, and criminal mischief.

Additionally, she faces misdemeanor charges of aggravated DUI – attempting to elude police, DUI – impairment, conduct after an accident, and disobeying an officer.

Following her arraignment on Thursday, Aug. 22, Ordway was held on preventative detention at the Grafton County Department of Corrections.

Trooper Conde did not sustain injuries in the incident.

The scene was attended by Woodsville Ambulance, Haverhill Police, and Bath Police.
