Monticello Moose win against Minneapolis in overtime – The Rink Live
With no decisive score in regulation, the Monticello Moose’s home game against Minneapolis ran into overtime on Tuesday.
Monticello snatched the win with a final score of 4-3.
Monticello’s Carter Lemke scored the game-winning goal.
The hosting team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Bradon Zieglmeier. Micah Sieben assisted.
Four goals were scored in the second period, and the Minneapolis players led 3-2 going in to the third period.
The Moose tied the score 3-3 early in the third period when Roman Thompson netted one yet again, assisted by Roman Thompson.
Just over one minutes in, Carter Lemke scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Ashton Stoll.
