Milwaukee police are looking for a critically missing 72-year-old man.

What we know:

The Milwaukee Police Department said Henry Goodlow Jr. was last seen on Sunday morning, June 29, near 7th and Reservoir.

Goodlow is described as a Black male, standing around 5’5″ tall and weighing around 140 pounds. He has brown eyes and short black hair. MPD said he should be wearing a dark-colored beanie, gray or white t-shirt with “Adidas” written on the front, blue jeans and dark-colored sneakers, with a watch or bracelet on left wrist.

He should be on foot.

One Milwaukee Police officer released, one in critical condition following ambush shooting


MILWAUKEE — One Milwaukee Police officer is now recovering at home, released from Froedert Hospital after being “ambushed” on June 26 in an alley near 25th and Garfield.

Officer Christopher McCray was one of two officers shots after responding to a call of shots fired after 9:00 p.m. As they approached the alley, they were fired upon and hit without being able to return fire.

Milwaukee Police Association President Alexander Ayala told WTMJ that Officer McCray underwent surgery for his injuries. He has over 6 years of service with the police department.

Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman, speaking for the first time since the shooting, said, “the outpouring of support from all our various partners, business community, from our community engagement partners, our different community-based organizations, to our political leaders…. that is important that we hear you, that we see you, we thank you,” says Chief Norman.

The other officer, a 32-year-old man with over 6 years of service, remains in critical condition at the hospital.

The suspect was arrested without incident around 2:15 a.m. on June 27. Charges have not yet been filed.
