Chris Broussard Explains Why Milwaukee Should Want To Avoid Celtics In Playoffs

The Boston Celtics despatched a message Thursday evening with their 140-99 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Boston’s probabilities of regaining the highest seed within the Jap Convention earlier than the season is throughout could also be low — Milwaukee owns a 1.5-game lead over the Cs — however the Celtics proved on Thursday that they will beat the Bucks on their house ground.
Following Boston’s molly whopping of Milwaukee, NBA insider Chris Broussard appeared on FS1’s present, First Issues First, to interrupt down his takeaways from the sport. And Chris Broussard went on to elucidate why the Bucks should want to avoid the Celtics within the postseason, per a tweet from First Issues First’s official Twitter account:
“Nobody goes to close Giannis down. However the Celtics do as nice of a job as potential. The Bucks haven’t any reply for the Celtics’ athleticism.”
Giannis Antetokounmpo, 28, is in his tenth 12 months within the NBA, all as a member of the Bucks franchise. He’s averaging 31.1 factors, 11.8 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per sport throughout 61 appearances this season (all begins).
A Bucks-Celtics playoff collection this spring feels inevitable. The Bucks and Celtics haven’t simply been the 2 finest groups within the Jap Convention all season. They’ve additionally been the 2 finest groups within the league, at the very least record-wise. And whereas Chris Broussard’s assertion on how the Celtics guard Giannis higher than another staff is true, don’t depend out the Bucks in a playoff collection towards Boston. In any case, the Bucks can have a wholesome Khris Middleton within the fold this time round.
