ATS Betting Lines: Detroit -4
Moneyline Odds: Denver +160 / Detroit -192
Over/Under: 47
This is clearly the most difficult game left on the Broncos schedule and its against a team with an outstanding offensive line and a ton of speed – not a whole lot different than the Miami Dolphins in all honesty. They represent the biggest test for the Broncos and it is a must-win type game for Denver with the AFC playoff picture a literal traffic jam around those final two playoff spots.
The other caveat is that the Kansas City Chiefs have dropped three of their last four games and looked completely dysfunctional against the Buffalo Bills today. If the AFC West is wide open, the Broncos are just a game back and would likely need to finish the season with a win streak to steal the division crown away from their hated rival.

Why Nets Signed Former Pistons PG Killian Hayes
The Brooklyn Nets are adding to their roster, signing point guard Killian Hayes to a one-year deal.
Hayes, who turns 23 years old today, was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, but his tenure with the franchise wasn’t very successful.
He played in just 26 games for the Pistons in his first season, failing to convince the team that he could be the point guard of the future. The Pistons then drafted Cade Cunningham with the No. 1 pick the following year, and that sent Hayes’ career on a difficult path.
While Hayes still had chances to shine for the Pistons, it was clear that he was not going to be part of Detroit’s long-term plans. In the middle of this past season, the Pistons decided to cut ties early and waive him.
So, why are the Nets taking a shot on him? But perhaps the more appropriate question should be “why not?”
The Nets are a team not focused as much on results this season as much as development, and Hayes is a player who could use some developing. Hayes had enough potential to be a top-10 pick just four years ago, and he’s young enough to where he can still learn and grow in the NBA.
The move holds very little risk for the Nets, who could still benefit if Hayes begins to look more like the lottery pick he was when he was coming into the league. Worst case scenario? Hayes doesn’t play and the Nets are wasting a roster spot. If he plays and he continues to be a subpar player, then the Nets were going to be bad anyway.
Either way, the Nets only have something to gain with this move, making it a positive one.

Detroit Tigers Place Young Star Outfielder on Injured List
The Detroit Tigers have been one of the most talked about teams in baseball over the last couple of weeks.
While they have started to play better on the field, the majority of attention is on who they might be shipping out ahead of the 2024 MLB trade deadline next week.
While those rumors have been swirling aggressively, there is another piece of major news to report about the franchise.
Unfortunately, the Tigers have had to make a move to place their young star outfielder Riley Greene on the injured list heading into the weekend with a strained right hamstring. There has been no expected timetable given to for his potential return to the field.
In a corresponding move, Detroit has decided to recall utilityman Ryan Vilade from Triple-A affiliate Toledo.
So far during the 2024 season, Greene has been a massive bright spot for the Tigers. He has played in 101 games, batting .264/.357/.485 to go along with 17 home runs and 51 RBI. That production will be missed.
Hopefully, this isn’t an injury that will last long-term. Detroit needs their young rising star back on the field. He is quickly turning into the centerpiece of the lineup for the future.
All of that being said, the Tigers will now turn their attention to the moves they’re going to make ahead of the deadline. Names like Jack Flaherty, Mark Canha, and even Tarik Skubal are making their rounds through the rumors.
Only time will tell what they choose to do at the deadline, but for now they’re simply hoping for a quick recovery and return to the diamond from Greene.
