Police search for at-risk teen missing in Southern California
Police are searching for an at-risk teenager who was last seen in Arcadia on Thursday and has been missing since.
The Arcadia Police Department issued a release on Saturday to ask for the public’s help looking for Atlanta King Scott, who police describe as a 17-year-old Black male.
Scott was last seen around 8 p.m. on Dec. 5 in the 700 block of West Lemon Avenue, according to police. Officials did not immediately say if he was with anyone at this last known location, or if he has a possible destination.
Police say Scott was last wearing black sweatpants, a black hoodie and gray/black Airforce One tennis shoes.
In addition, the release says Scott stands about 5 feet and 2 inches tall, and weighs about 150 pounds.
Details are limited. It was not immediately clear what circumstances Scott was last seen in or why he may have disappeared.
Arcadia Police ask anyone who may have information that can help safely locate the teen to call 911 or contact the department at 626-574-5123.

A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
