Man found shot to death near 710 Freeway in Los Angeles County
A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found with a fatal gunshot wound in the city of Paramount Wednesday morning.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was notified of the discovery in the area of the 710 Freeway and Rosecrans Avenue just before 2 a.m.
“The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire paramedics,” the Sheriff’s Department stated.
Authorities confirmed the victim was a man but did not provide any further details about his age or identity.
There was also no immediate word on a possible motive for the shooting or a description of any suspect or suspects.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles
A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
