Downtown Los Angeles shooting leaves 1 dead, suspects still at large
Police say they are searching for three suspects connected to the shooting death of a man in Downtown Los Angeles in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to the L.A. Police Department, officers responded to the area of Pico Boulevard and Hope Street around 3:25 a.m.
Around that time, a man observed three other men “removing property” from a location. When he tried to intervene, police said, the men turned around and shot him.
The victim, described only as white man between the ages of 30 and 35, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The three suspects fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. They remained at large as of Saturday morning.
No additional details were immediately made available.

Hospital needs help identifying man found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles
A hospital needs help identifying a male patient who was found injured and unconscious in downtown Los Angeles.
The man is believed to be in his 30s, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center.
He was found injured on the ground on Omar Street and has been hospitalized since June 22.
He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 176 pounds. He has brown eyes, dark brown hair and tattoos across his upper body.
He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
