Oh, Hello: 2026 Three-Star Delaware WR Jahsiear Rogers Commits To Penn State

THE SKINNY

Height/Weight: 6-foot-0, 170 pounds
Hometown/High School: Middletown, DE (Appoquinimink)
Ranking: ★★★ (89 rating according to On3, the only service to rank him)
Notable Offers: Indiana and James Madison

HIGHLIGHTS

THE TALE

Heading into his junior season, Rogers recruitment was just getting started this summer as he earned offers as he was attending different camps. His Penn State offer came back in June when reportedly ran in the low 4.3s in front of James Franklin and company, according to Tyler Calvaruso of Lions247.

Apparently, there wasn’t much more for Rogers to see to be sold on the Nittany Lions. He made his way back to Happy Valley for this year’s Lasch Bash and made the call for Penn State earlier this afternoon. With his commitment, he becomes the third prospect in Penn State’s 2026 recruiting lass, joining high four-star prospects RB Messiah Mickens and QB Troy Huhn.

OUTLOOK

As is always the case with these “Outlook” sections for guys who haven’t even started their junior years yet, it’s such a crapshoot. But let’s keep it simple with Rogers: 4.3 speed is 4.3 speed. It certainly pops on film, even if it’s against some lesser Delaware competition. He’s of course going to need to put on some weight and get stronger, but James Franklin has long been a believer in checking the boxes when it comes to testing numbers. If they got the opportunity to work him out and verify the level of athlete he is, that’s a pretty good sign at how much they like him.
